We currently have a vacancy for a sales & customer service administrator. Your roles and responsibilities will include the following:
Answering incoming telephone calls and dealing with them accordingly or transferring to the appropriate person. Making telephone calls to customers, suppliers and our own field based sales and installation teams.
Accuracy and speed of data entry of orders onto our bespoke Blindata operational software is essential. This will include entering appointments onto an electronic diary system and processing quotations and orders. Therefore attention to detail and accuracy are vital components. Excellent understanding and use of Microsoft Office Suite is essential.
General Office Duties
Day to day activities will include processing any outstanding paperwork, filing or job costing. You will also be required to scan and attach orders, surveys and photographs to each relevant job as required. A good knowledge of the geographical areas of South Wales is an advantage however training will be given on Google maps and AA route planner, to ensure we plan our sales and installation diary’s efficiently.
You will be required to provide a warm welcome to our showroom visitors, meeting and greeting them before providing advice on products. You will be required to demonstrate our products and talk our customers through the various colours and designs available in our pattern book fabric collections, which are extensive.Training will be provided on Solar’s expanding portfolio of products. This training will include how our products work, how to price the various products for customers and training on our pattern book fabric collections. You will provide assistance to customers through telesales, internet and face to face at our showroom.
You will be required to keep up to date with our existing marketing campaigns and any subsequent offers in various campaigns. Marketing material would include press, lifestyle magazines, social media and our own website. These will change throughout the year, but we will always make sure to keep staff updated on the current campaigns.
You will be required to process deposit and balance payments using chip and pin machines in store, or login to our online secure payment portal to process payments phoned in from jobs. We also offer interest free credit and interest bearing finance packages for our customers. This requires the use of an online finance portal which is very user friendly and full training on this will be provided.
